The staff of the Local History and Genealogy Dept. is available almost anytime the libray is open and ready to help answer any questions you may have and/or help you in your research.

Susan Harmon: Dept. Manager

Rita Harlan: Part-time Reference Assistant
Kris Ligget: Part-time Reference Assistant
Rick Monroe: Part-time Reference Assistant

Ed Dewes: Volunteer Reference Assistant
Lou Fountaine: Volunteer Reference Assistant
Carl and Marilyn Arbuckle: Volunteers. Cut obituaries out of the BannerGraphic newspaper about every two weeks to keep our obituary records updated.
Jack Wright: Volunteer. Currently working on compiling a pseudo-census for the county in 1890 (Due to the federal 1890 census records having been destroyed in a fire).
W.T. Watson: Volunteer. Uses Depauw University's library resources once a week to research newspaper records for older obituaries that patrons have requested.
