The program, “Kaya, Sages and Totems,” features the Native American doll,
Kaya, and special guest, Constance Ferry of Hobbit Gardens. Make a totem.
Smell sage. Hear how the sages preserve ceremonial healing traditions.
See Native American dream catchers, arrows, baskets, and paintings, and
learn about their meaning. Listen to Jimmy Bear’s flute music, and taste
Native American herbal tea. Bring your favorite doll (all dolls are welcome).
The program is free, courtesy of Friends of the Library. Library staff present.
